Upton Sinclair, Now Playing on YouTube, artical, by KIM SEVERSON

An animal activist went undercover at slaughter houses to see if anything was illegal or being appropriate with the killings. This articles view was on the activist’s side, and so am I. I feel that they should take away as much pain as possible when being killed, like if they had a no abuse prior to killings. Many people think that animals have no feelings and are on this earth to serve human beings. I wonder if those people were born a cow, I think there views would be much different. Works who do this and the meat companies are far too cruel to the animals. This is proven by the article; the investigator caught on tape much violence. There were things like flipping sick cows with forklifts, poking them with electricity wires and dragging them with chains. They also gave drugs to make them grow faster, witch makes them very sick, and to save money, cram them into little cages with a lot more cows, they can’t even move. I think animals are just profits to them, and to save money often means the animals must suffer. I liked this piece because they stood up for animals.
