Charles Schultz

Charle a.k.a spary was a born loser. He failed in every aspect of his life. In academics, he failed almost every class from math, science, English, and everything in between. Smarts was not his thing. He made a golf team, but became a burden to the team. So, sports were not his thing, also. Sparky had no friends, his peers wouldn’t even say hello. So, being outgoing was not his thing. It seemed like Sparky was a loser in life, and looked like it would stay that way. Luckily, Sparky had one passion, in his cartoons he made. When he graduated, he looked for multiple jobs in cartooning. He sent his work to yearbooks, Walt Disney studios, and other companies. Sparky put his heart and souls into the work he sent, only to get rejected by all of them. Regardless, he started his own cartoon strip. The cartoon was a about a little boy who was a loser, a cartoon strip about his childhood. It was called Charlie Brown.
As we all know, Charlie has become one of the most successful cartoons ever. I thought I was interesting that Charlie brown was a real person. Charlie brown is well known in Minnesota, witch I like to read about because its part of our history. Who knew that Sparky would be so successful? This proves that losers can win. No matter how much you’re rejected you can make it. This is inspiring story. Everyone is important in there own way :)
This story was from the chicken soup for the teenage soul. volume 1. multiple writers. Stories found by Jack Canfield, Mark Hasen and Kim Kirberger.
