No one notices

Ten trillion, that’s a thousand billions, in dollars, that the U.S. is in debt. …and counting. The Time Square’s national count down didn’t even have enough room for the number. But as big as this number is, no one seems to notice, maybe denial. According to the article on Huffington post, http://www.huffingtonpost.com/scott-bittle-and-jean-johnson/national-debt-passes-10-t_b_132732.html says that people don’t really care about our national debt. I think Americans attitude is that someone will come and save us. Or that everyone keeps saying that America is the greatest country in the world, and it’ll be solved. But that’s just my theory. I’m sure they had a good reason, right? Well there’s the Iraq war, witch were still not out of, so KA CHING! It its estimated that the wars cost was about $400 billion - but that was before the Wall Street bailout. The war has taken a big chunk of money, but it’s not the only thing. to fix the bailout we are now borrowing money!? In this money crisis, people don’t have jobs so they can’t really pay for there share. Many politicians DON’T talk about tax increases or spending cuts. Instead they just barrow, just the place we need to be. People need to pay back loans; there are the baby boomers, fix Social Security, and Medicare. There is no way of denying it people, we need real a fix. If you haven’t cried by the end of reading this, do something. Start saving or move. We have been irresponsible long enough. I’m not even an adult yet and the place I’m living in sounds bad and getting worse. I know its a lot of work but no way around it. DO SOMETHING!
