Dating and love has changed over the years. We now have different ideas of love, expectations, and how and where to find it. Thanks to technology, more and more people are finding love, not like we used to. One in four people say that they have found a relationship through the internet, via facebook, myspace, match.com, ect. And through the ages that number is expected to only get higher. It is certainly easier to browse through your possibilities, without people ever knowing it, and you can see a lot more about them then you would face-to-face. It’s much softer to be rejected through the internet than in real life. You can have a whole relationship with someone without ever meeting them. But is it such a good thing? This article reminds me of another one where a guy had pretended he was someone he was not. People can lie very easily online, and the possibilities of stalkers too. It is a good thing for some because you can meet a lot of people, especially if you’re shy. The internets open up connections and social relationships with a click of a button. It also can keep long distant relationships intact and easier to keep together. Someday you might find your love on the internet too.
